Dr. Sanjeev Bhattacharyya is an associate editor of JACC: Case Reports. He is also a consultant cardiologist & honorary senior lecturer at University College London Hospital and Barts Heart Centre, St Bartholomew's Hospital, London, UK. His main sub-specialty interests are advanced heart failure, valvular heart disease and advanced echocardiography. His research interests are focused on the application of advanced echocardiographic techniques and other modalities to better characterise and identify the optimal timing of intervention in heart valve disease. Dr. Bhattacharyya was chair of the research committee and is an active member of the education committee of the British Society of Echocardiography. He is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine cardiology council.
